The roller Kelly bushing is one of a necessary equipment of the oil drilling tool. It is installed in the big bushing; its function is to conveying the torque which is delivered by the rotary table to the down hole drilling tool.
The roller Kelly bushing has two ways of driving: the square drive and the pin drive; there are square and hexagonal according to the API Spec 7K for Kelly. It is mainly made up of top cap, bottom cap, axes, rollers, fastening bolt and thrust washers. There are four rollers in the roller Kelly bushing and the roller bearings are installed in the rollers. The rollers are fixed between the top cap and the bottom cap by the axes. There are thrust washers to prevent drill fluid from permeating into the two ends of the rollers. There is a stop pin on the sealers to prevent the thrust washers revolving.
The roller pins are fixed by four M38 bolts, the moment of force of the bolt is 2KN&©|8226;m. The four hexagonal shoulder bolts fixed the four bolts with the nuts to prevent from loose.
